The scrimmage offers fans their first glimpse at the 2015 Mountaineers. The squad will divide into two teams – gold and blue – and play a five-set intrasquad match. The first four sets will be to 25 points, while the fifth will be to 15 points.
West Virginia returns seven veterans from last year’s squad and adds nine newcomers to the mix, including five transfers – four of whom will be eligible this season. Starting middle blockers Caleah Wells and Hannah Shreve, setter Brittany Sample and libero Gianna Gotterba headline the group, while returners Melvina Brown and Haley Roe also will add depth.
