White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. - The Greenbrier will turn gold and blue again this spring.
West Virginia University football reigns supreme in West Virginia. This year the Big 12 football member will play its popular Gold-Blue Spring Game at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center on April 23, 2016.
WVU made the trip to the state-of-the-art facility, the summer home of the New Orleans Saints Training Camp, last April for a practice. WVU’s spring practice, beginning on March 13, will conclude at The Greenbrier with the annual scrimmage.
“The players and coaches had a great experience at The Greenbrier last year and we are looking forward to playing our spring game there in April,” West Virginia head football coach Dana Holgorsen said.
