MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University redshirt sophomore wide receiver Shelton Gibson was one of 53 receivers named to the 2016 Fred Biletnikoff Award Watch List, today, as announced by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation.
Gibson led the Mountaineers with 887 yards receiving in 2015 on 45 catches, second-most on the team. He finished with a season-high nine touchdowns and had a long reception of 70 yards at Baylor.
Gibson’s top performance was six catches for 148 yards and a touchdown against Iowa State. He also had more than 100 yards against Georgia Southern (130), Maryland (118) and Arizona State (143).
