ST. LOUIS — Suspended St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey, a former West Virginia standout, is in critical but stable condition after being shot Tuesday night, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press.
The Rams said in a statement they were “aware Stedman Bailey was involved in an incident” late Tuesday and that they had spoken with him. The person who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because details have not been released by the Rams did not specify where the shooting took place.
Multiple reports said Bailey was in Miami Gardens, Fla.
