Two weeks after entering the NCAA transfer portal, former West Virginia defensive back Derrek Pitts has enrolled at Marshall.
Thundering Herd athletics director Mike Hamrick confirmed the move Wednesday to WVMetroNews and The Dominion Post.
Pitts and fellow safety Kenny Robinson were two projected defensive starters who transferred from WVU within the past month.
A four-star recruit from South Charleston High, Pitts signed with the Mountaineers in 2017. Rivals ranked him the top prospect in the state that year and the No. 23 safety nationally.
He appeared in 19 games over two seasons at West Virginia, making a career 36 tackles and forcing one fumble.
