MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Gold & Blue Lunch Report appreciates the big boys up front, and even more, we appreciate a trained eye who understands what those big’uns are supposed to be doing.
Former West Virginia lineman Jeff Braun, a three-year starter and two-time team leader in knockdowns, joins the show to critique clips from the season-opening 44-0 win over Georgia Southern. In the video, he evaluates what went right on a pair of 19-yard runs by Wendell Smallwood, and explains what went wrong when Smallwood was crunched on fourth-and-1.
“I was pretty happy with the line as a whole,” Braun said.
