MIAMI — Former West Virginia receiver Stedman Bailey was in critical but stable condition Wednesday morning after being shot twice late Tuesday night.
Various reports indicate Bailey, a receiver for the St. Louis Rams, was in a car with family members when a hail of gunshots rang out. He was shot twice in the head but his injuries were not considered to be life threatening, reports said. Bailey’s cousin, who was driving the car, was shot several times and was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
