COMMENTARY
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — When West Virginia senior Kyle Bosch called a fellow lineman “stupid” this week, it was entirely out of respect.
Reacting to Matt Jones’ apology after Sunday’s 31-24 loss to Virginia Tech, Bosch wrapped a meaty right hook around the sophomore center and essentially said apology not accepted.
“I just grabbed him by the back of the neck,” Bosch said, “because we were all at fault for that loss.”
In Jones’ first start West Virginia piled up 592 yards — the third-most allowed during Bud Foster’s 31 years as a defensive coordinator.
