MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Twelfth-ranked West Virginia looks to improve to 6-0 to start a season for the first time since 2006 when the Mountaineers take on 4-2 TCU Saturday afternoon at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The Horned Frogs show victories over South Dakota State (59-41), Iowa State (41-20), SMU (33-3) and Kansas (24-23) and losses to Arkansas (41-38) and Oklahoma (52-46).
West Virginia’s five wins have come against Missouri (26-11), Youngstown State (38-21), BYU (35-32), Kansas State (17-16) and Texas Tech (48-17).
TCU has won both times it has played West Virginia in Morgantown since the programs joined the Big 12 in 2012 - the Horned Frogs taking the 2012 game, 39-38, in double overtime and coming back from a 13-point deficit in the third quarter to win, 31-30, in 2014.
