MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Former Musselman High School standout Trevon Wesco, who’s entering his sophomore season at Lackawanna (Pa.) College, committed to West Virginia on Thursday night.
He becomes the Mountaineers’ first tight end commitment for the 2016 class and projects to be more of a passing-game threat than previous players at the position under Dana Holgorsen’ system.
“Westco played wide receiver in high school, so he’s more of a pass-catching tight end,” said Rivals writer Keenan Cummings of WVSports.
