MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Junior Elizabeth Gratz and sophomore Will Anti qualified for the junior finals on day one of the 2016 USA Shooting Winter Air Gun Championships, on Dec. 2, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Gratz shot 412.8 in the open relay and 249.0 in the final to finish second overall in the junior women’s 10m air rifle competition. The Sigel, Illinois, native was narrowly edged by Minden Miles for the first-day victory, as Miles shot 250.4 in the final. Gratz finished 13th in the women’s open competition.
On the men’s side, Anti shot 615.
