STILLWATER, Okla. — Naomi Davenport scored 24 points, Tynice Martin added 22 and West Virginia dominated Oklahoma State 77-54 on Wednesday night in women’s basketball.
Madisen Smith added 11 points for the Mountaineers (19-6, 10-4) and joined the trio of Martin and Lucky Red with five assists each.
“We don’t win here a lot, so we feel very fortunate,” West Virginia coach Mike Carey said.
West Virginia moved into a three-way tie for second place in the conference with Texas and Iowa State.
While Vivian Gray’s 23 points led Oklahoma State (13-12, 4-10), she shot only 8-of-24.
