MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Danique Bryan opened up competition for the West Virginia University track and field team, setting a career-best indoor mark on the first day at the PSU National Open in University Park, Pennsylvania, on Friday.
West Virginia started Friday’s competition in field events, and will continue with track events on Saturday.
“Danique (Bryan) started things off very well for the weekend,” said coach Sean Cleary. “This is a personal indoor best for Danique, being her first meet of the year and we are very pleased with her night. It's clear that she can go further- a few more meets and she will be in a very good place.
