MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Danique Bryan of the West Virginia University track and field team set a school record and earned a bronze medal on the final day of the 2017 Big 12 Outdoor Championship on Sunday, in Lawrence, Kansas.
In addition to Bryan’s record-breaking performance on Sunday, she and junior Shamoya McNeil earned All-Big 12 honors for placing in the top eight. Throughout the three-day championship, WVU collected a total of seven all-conference accolades at Kansas’ Rock Chalk Park.
“What a day in the triple jump,” coach Sean Cleary said. “Danique and Shamoya were outstanding.
