Brown talks WVU’s strengths and weaknesses at midpoint of first year

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Halfway through year one, Neal Brown sees that there is plenty still to be done at West Virginia.

Virtually all of the Mountaineers’ weaknesses were laid bare in a 52-14 loss at Oklahoma, though in a way that loss also assures that no one has any false illusions about where the program is at right now.

With the Mountaineers (3-4, 1-3 Big 12) idle prior to next Thursday’s game at undefeated Baylor, Brown shared his thoughts on where the team is at.

“We haven’t been consistent in any phase for an entire game yet,” Brown said.
