With the Big 12 Tournament starting in a little over a week, I figured it would be best to put in an article what needs to happen for West Virginia to get the best possible seed in Kansas City.
IF WEST VIRGINIA BEATS IOWA STATE ON FRIDAY:
They are the 2 seed. Period. Since WVU holds the tiebreaker over Baylor (the Mountaineers split with Kansas and the Bears got swept by them) and a win over Iowa State would be a 2-0 sweep, West Virginia could not fall in the standings regardless of what happens on Saturday.
