MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia coach Bob Huggins said the Mountaineers won’t have junior guard Beetle Bolden available for Saturday’s game at Baylor.
“No, he’s still banged up,” Huggins said Thursday.
Bolden suffered a high ankle sprain on Jan. 26 against Tennessee and has missed the last six games.
He’s averaging a career-high 12.2 points per game and is regarded as the best perimeter scorer for the Mountaineers (10-16, 2-11).
West Virginia will be down four starters against Baylor (17-9, 8-5), with center Sagaba Konate missing the last 17 games with a knee injury and forwards Esa Ahmad and Wes Harris being dismissed.
