The popular promotion is set for Sunday, Jan. 17, at 4 p.m., at the WVU Coliseum. The wrestling team will face No. 22 Oklahoma, while the gymnastics team will compete against New Hampshire in its 2016 season home opener.
“We are excited about the opportunity to bring back the Beauty and the Beast promotion for the Mountaineer fans,” said WVU wrestling coach Sammie Henson. “It is truly a great event and concept. We look forward to battling alongside the gymnastics team and giving the fans something to be proud of.”
“This meet is always one of our best-attended competitions, and we’re so excited to host it again this year for our great fans,” said WVU gymnastics coach Jason Butts.
