MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University baseball team went down early and was never able to come back as it fell 6-2 on Saturday afternoon at Monongalia County Ballpark.
The attendance of 2,107 marked the fifth time this season WVU has had 2,000 or more fans at Monongalia County Ballpark.
The win for TCU clinches the series as the Horned Frogs improved to 36-9 overall and 12-5 in the Big 12. West Virginia dropped to 24-21 overall and 6-11 in Big 12 play.
“We talk about it all the time, stopping the damage and having a routine to get back in,” coach Randy Mazey said.
