MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Marques Inman fueled a six-run first inning, and his two-run homer in the eighth was just as important as West Virginia held off Oklahoma State 10-7 on Saturday to even their weekend series.

Inman knocked in a career-best four runs and freshman Tyler Doanes had a pair of two-out hits in collecting his first three RBIs for the Mountaineers (16-16, 2-6 Big 12).

After entering the day atop the conference standings, Oklahoma State (19-13-1, 8-3) saw its seven-game Big 12 win streak snapped. The Cowboys trimmed the deficit to 8-7 in the eighth before Inman’s fifth homer of the season capped WVU’s 13-hit outburst.
