The Rich Rodriguez-led Arizona Wildcats recently announced some coaching changes. And, while Rodriguez will be retained after a disappointing 7-6, fifth place in the Pac-12 South campaign, there have been other moves on the coaching staff.
The incoming coach and outgoing coach both have West Virginia ties.
Last week, it was announced that David Lockwood would not be returning to the Wildcats staff. In his place, Jahmile Addae received a promotion.
Lockwood, a four-year letterwinner for the Mountaineers, graduated from West Virginia in 1989. As a defensive back, he helped WVU reach the Fiesta Bowl national championship against Notre Dame and led the Mountaineers to their first undefeated regular season.
