MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Rising West Virginia University junior Will Anti earned a pair of podium finishes in junior competitions in the final days of the USA Shooting National Championships for Rifle/Pistol, at the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit in Fort Benning, Georgia.
A Fort Benning native, Anti saved his best for last, finishing second in the junior men’s 10m air rifle on Saturday, July 1, with a 1240.4 total. He advanced to the final on the strength of a 1236.9 (619.2, 617.7) qualifying score. Anti shot 245.4 in the final, finishing second overall and earning 3.5 points toward his runner-up score.
