J.D. submitted this story following the death of Mountaineer basketball legend Hot Rod Hundley on March 27, 2015. In 2004, Jerry West made a $100,000 contribution to West Virginia University to endow a men's basketball scholarship in Ann Dinardi's name and a movie script has also been written by WVU graduate Sharon Lee, depicting Dinardi's life with a focus on her relationship with Hundley.
