MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - It all started with a dog named Mocha.
Amanda Hill met Mocha two years ago. Looking to take advantage of the wide variety of classes offered at West Virginia University, the senior defensive center midfielder for the WVU women’s soccer team went out on a limb and enrolled for a service dog training class in 2013. It was in that class that Hill was paired with Mocha, a young puppy looking for guidance. Little did she know that Mocha was about to completely alter her own life, too.
Hill, a native of Washington, Pennsylvania, arrived in Morgantown in 2012 with a dream – she wanted to become a physical therapist.
