West Ham striker Andy Carroll has been award Goal of The Month for January, scooping the honour for his acrobatic heroics against Crystal Palace.
Carroll dominated the headlines after his 79th minute sublime effort crashed into the back of the net, sending the Hammers on their way to a 3-0 win.
The striker faced fierce competition from Arsenal's Olivier Giroud, whose 'scorpion kick' effort earlier in the month was widely tipped to take the honour.
Carroll posed with his award, presented by Carling, at West Ham's training ground on Friday.
