West Ham are expected to complete the loan signing of Jan Bednarek from Southampton on deadline, ahead of Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
The Polish defender was an unused sub in Saints' 2-1 win over Chelsea on Tuesday and now looks set to leave the south coast and join David Moyes' men on a season-long loan.
Bednarek joined Southampton in 2017 and has played over 150 times for the club, scoring seven goals.
