West Ham rival Everton by opening talks with £25m Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata - who would prefer a move to London should he leave Italy during the January transfer window

Premier League giants West Ham and Everton have both asked about Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata.

The 31-year-old, who is understood to prefer a move to London should he leave Italy, also has interest from Nottingham Forest, but is valued at £25million.

Therefore, the three Premier League sides will have to battle it out to sign Zapata before the January window closes in two weeks time.
