Slaven Bilic has told his players that they can have a beer or two for Christmas – but warned them not to cause controversy with any boozy antics.
It comes after Andy Carroll and Darren Randolph were accused of getting drunk during a team bonding night out, prompting West Ham to open an investigation into the pair in September.
The Hammers won for the second successive time on Saturday to pull themselves away from the Premier League relegation zone.
Though it was far from champagne football – a Mark Noble spot-kick was all that separated the sides – Bilic spoke afterwards about whether his stars are allowed alcohol over Christmas.
