West Ham 'make cheeky £21m bid for Eden Hazard' but Real Madrid turn down offer despite Belgian barely featuring for first team as president Florentino Perez demands at least £48m to part with flop record signing

Real Madrid have reportedly turned down a £21million bid from West Ham for Eden Hazard on the grounds that it was so low that it offended the LaLiga leaders.

Hazard joined Real in 2019 as their most expensive ever signing, costing an initial £89million from Chelsea with the total fee including bonuses and signing-on fees reported to be around £140million.

But his signing has been an unmitigated disaster due to a series of injuries and a subsequent drop in performances.
