West Ham United have launched a new initiative to support their local NHS trusts amid the coronavirus crisis, including an initial donation of 1,000 shirts for patients and staff.
The club are aiming to invest £28million in all of its community endeavours by 2021.
Their latest fundraising efforts will directly benefit Barts Charity, who support Barts Health NHS Trust, and King George and Queen’s Hospitals Charity, who support the Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trusts.
Among other activities, West Ham will promote their charitable appeals, make donations and use their staff to volunteer to support local trusts.
