The Hammers will kick-off their 2023-24 European campaign with a home clash against Serbian outfit TSC Backa Topola.
However, ahead of kick-off fans in east London were left running for cover after heavy rain threatened to put a dampener on the affair.
Fans shared videos of their experience on social media, with one video showing how the torrential rain had flooded into one of the concourses.
Despite the extreme weather conditions pre-match, the rain eased up just before kick-off and it had no effect on the evening's game.
