Paul Ince has told West Ham supporters they have ‘absolutely no grounds’ to moan about David Moyes’ appointment as their new manager – saying a big-name boss would ‘never’ want to go there.
Moyes has signed a short-term contract with the Hammers until the end of the season, and is tasked with rescuing the side from their shocking start to the season.
West Ham currently sit in the Premier League relegation zone after claiming just two wins from their first 11 games of the new campaign.
Moyes’ appointment was not met by a fanfare from fans, with many hoping for a bigger name to take over from axed boss Slaven Bilic.
