West Ham confirm fan was ejected from stadium after homophobic chant allegations in Chelsea game

West Ham have confirmed a supporter was ejected from the ground in their 4-2 home defeat by Chelsea amid allegations of a homophobic chant.

Chelsea Women Supporters Group claim the chant came immediately after Danish forward Pernille Harder - who would go on to score a hat-trick on Wednesday night - had opened the scoring for the reigning WSL champions.

A Hammers statement has now confirmed the individual was 'ejected from the stadium' at Dagenham's Victoria Road following the initial reports.
