West Ham are in talks to sign promising Danish centre-back Frederik Alves Ibsen from Silkeborg.
The 20-year-old has been in London with his agent ahead of agreeing a deal to join in January worth around £1.2m.
The Denmark U21 international can play centre-back and full back and has attracted interest from Leeds United and Russian side Rostov.
The youngster first made his debut in the senior team for Silkeborg in September 2018 in a Danish cup game.
He has become a regular for the team ever since and has made 45 appearances for the side.
