West Ham co-owner David Gold has hailed the atmosphere at the London Stadium as 'special' and 'better than Upton Park'.
The 60,000-capacity converted athletics stadium is in stark contrast to the hostile, intimidating surroundings of their old home of 112 years.
It has been described as 'soulless' by some visitors and concerns have been raised that fans will never be able to generate the same noise at the giant Stratford arena.
Gold, however, has told talkSPORT that he is delighted with their new home and claims the atmosphere has been superior in the three matches they have hosted so far.
