Slaven Bilic insists the West Ham board's vote of confidence did not surprise him because he never felt his job was in jeopardy.
The Hammers co-chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan released a statement offering their full support for the Croatian.
Bilic's side have suffered four successive losses and go up against Arsenal on Wednesday, hoping they can end the run that has dragged them close to the relegation zone.
'I don't have to read the papers to know my relationship with the board,' Bilic said.
