West Ham boss David Moyes 'categorically' denies going to Chelsea vs Norwich to scout Michy Batshuayi... despite transfer links with the forward

David Moyes claims he was not at Chelsea's clash with Norwich to watch Michy Batshuayi – despite reports linking the striker with a move to the London Stadium.

The Belgium international had been touted for a move to Chelsea's London rivals, with Andy Carroll potentially heading the other direction.

Carroll's proposed transfer to Stamford Bridge is now in tatters after he suffered an ankle injury. And now Moyes, who was seen at Stamford Bridge for Wednesday's FA Cup replay, has claimed he was scouting Norwich players rather than Batshuayi.
