West Ham United have told the Premier League’s big six that they are fully in support of their campaign to have international TV cash based on final table positions.
It comes after board members from all 20 top-flight clubs met in London on Wednesday with a redistribution of overseas money the main item on the agenda.
Both Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham want 35 per cent of TV money to be split by league placings instead of the current protocol of sharing it equally.
Fourteen clubs have to vote in favour for any change, and West Ham are among those on the side of the big six.
