West Ham will hold a friendly with non-League Dagenham & Redbridge during March's international break in a bid to help their neighbours in their financial crisis.
David Moyes has promised that he will put out a strong team to get gates up with 100 per cent of the money raised going to the struggling Daggers down the road.
The friendly fixture will be held on Wednesday March 21 at Dagenham's Chigwell Construction Stadium - less than two miles from the Hammers' Rush Green training ground.
West Ham were due to go up against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday March 18 but Jose Mourinho's side's progress in the FA Cup saw that postponed.
