West Ham have announced that club legend Bobby Moore's time capsule is to be re-buried underneath the former location of the Upton Park centre circle 25 years on from his death.
The West Ham legend, who passed away just 51 years old on February 24, 1993, after suffering from bowel cancer, has been remembered year after year by supporters, players and the football community alike.
His time capsule, which was originally laid by his widow, Stephanie, during the build of 'The Bobby Moore' stand at the Hammers' former home ground, will now be situated below the very spot he would have greeted his opponents throughout his 15-year career.
