West Ham and Arsenal charged for failing to control players at weekend

West Ham and Arsenal have both been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players following separate games on Sunday.

They felt Bankes blocked Jarrod Bowen's path as he went to win the ball.

Arsenal were furious with a Gabriel red card and Leeds penalty late in their 1-0 win at Elland Road - before those decisions were overturned by the VAR.

Both West Ham and Arsenal have been charged with failing to ensure their players "conducted themselves in an orderly fashion" and have until Monday to respond.

Hammers manager David Moyes, who also felt Tomas Soucek should have been awarded a penalty, said afterwards that the video assistant referee needed "to go to Specsavers".
