Everton missed out on the chance to move level on points with Manchester United after failing to find a way past a stubborn West Ham side.

Romelu Lukaku and Co rarely threatened to score at the London Stadium as Slaven Bilic's Hammers stifled the away side's attacking threats.

Cheikhou Kouyate came close to scoring with a long-range drive in the first-half, while Jose Fonte wasted a late chance to score from a corner after directing his header straight at Maarten Stekelenburg.
