West Brom's Jake Livermore to escape FA punishment after confronting West Ham fan that tauned him about death of his son at London Stadium

Jake Livermore will face no disciplinary action from the FA over his public confrontation with the West Ham supporter who taunted him about the death of his son.

West Brom and England midfielder Livermore has, however, been gently reminded by the game's disciplinary that he cannot take the law into his own hands.

He has been urged not to respond to provocation from the stands in future - not least for his personal safety.
