West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan has revealed that Dimitri Payet didn't speak to his team-mates for eight weeks before his £25million move to Marseille.
Former fans' favourite Payet had been refusing to play for the Hammers, and finally got a move back to Marseille at the end of the transfer window.
While West Ham were initially unwilling to sell, Sullivan has revealed the circumstances which made it near-impossible to keep him at the club.
'I think for the last six or eight weeks, he's not been talking to anybody in the squad,' Sullivan told BBC Radio 5Live.
