Virgil Van Dijk praises Liverpool's 'resilience' after Reds continue impressive start to the season with back-to-back wins from one goal down

Virgil Van Dijk has praised Liverpool’s resilience after the Reds won a fourth game of the season having gone down 1-0, with the captain saying he is proud of the team’s willingness to believe in themselves and stay calm.

Liverpool beat Wolves last weekend and Austrian side LASK in Linz on Thursday with a familiar theme in both, with Jurgen Klopp’s men falling behind to a cheap goal in the first half before blowing the opposition away in the second period.

It means the Reds go into Sunday’s clash with West Ham at Anfield with 13 points from 15 in the league and a perfect record in Europe, having overcome significant obstacles such as two red cards and a number of injuries to key men.
