UK Athletics has agreed a deal to block book the London Stadium for two weekends every July for the next six years.
Under the terms of the agreement with the London Legacy Development Corporation, which has been announced but not yet signed, UKA has reserved the second and third weeks of July through to 2024.
UKA, which signed a 50-year lease on the stadium in 2013, intend to continue hosting their Anniversary Games Diamond League meet on the latter of those weekends, with an option to schedule events on the former in each cycle.
Under-fire UKA chairman Richard Bowker, whose position will be on the agenda at their AGM on Friday, said: 'By having the security of set event dates for the next six years of our 50-year lease we can benefit from being able to plan and market our events much further in advance.
