The Premier League has officially confirmed dates for the summer and winter transfer windows ahead of the new season.

With the end of the season just days away, clubs across the Premier League will already be looking at targets ahead of the new campaign.

The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will be looking at ways in which they can close the gap on Manchester City.

In a statement, the Premier League said: 'To ensure harmonisation with the major leagues in Europe, the closing dates were set following discussions with the EFL, DFL, Serie A, LaLiga and LFP, who will all close their Summer and Winter windows on September 1 and February 1 respectively.
