SPORTS AGENDA: Liverpool's Jordan Henderson takes the lead on NHS relief fund... while Premier League stars' lavish coronavirus lockdown posts are given the red card by clubs

Liverpool's Jordan Henderson has admirably taken the lead in football over coronavirus, suggesting a fund be set up to help the NHS during the crisis.

The England man was also prominent over the weekend at the summit on players’ wages.

It’s surprising, then, that Henderson is not Liverpool’s Professional Footballers’ Association representative. That role is held by back-up goalkeeper Adrian, who took over from Simon Mignolet and was also PFA rep at West Ham.

However, Henderson has been handling talks with the union over the current issue.
