Danny Gabbidon has urged West Ham to give Slaven Bilic the backing he ‘deserves’, claiming the uncertainty over the manager’s future is damaging to the club.
The Hammers have struggled to replicate the form of last season, when they finished seventh in the Premier League, and currently sit 12th in the table having won just nine of their 29 matches this term.
The club’s co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan have now reportedly shelved plans to offer Bilic an extension to his contract, which expires in 2018, and begun looking at potential replacements in case their poor form continues.
