Graham Potter could make Kieran Dewsbury-Hall his first signing as West Ham boss in a raid of his former club Chelsea.
The Englishman wants to strengthen his options in midfield and attack and Dewsbury-Hall is one option.
Potter was announced as West Ham's replacement for Julen Lopetegui on Thursday morning, with the Spaniard the shortest-lived Hammers boss in history.
Dewsbury-Hall, 26, has struggled for Premier League minutes on the fringes of the squad since signing for £30million from Leicester in the summer to reunite with Enzo Maresca.
